Day One

Arrive at Victoria Airport, where our representatives will meet you and assist you with connecting to your short flight to Desroches Island. As part of the outer islands, Desroches Island is one of the most remote luxury destinations in the Seychelles, and all the more spectacular for it. Your 5 night stay in a Luxury Beach Suite will not only ensure your utmost comfort with an exceedingly romantic atmosphere, but you could easily feel like you are the only two people on the island, with nobody else in sight when you step directly onto the beach in front of your suite. On this vast tranquil island, you have the freedom and privacy to shape your own bespoke wedding experience and discover paradise... alone and together. After arrival you will have the opportunity to meet with your wedding co-ordinator to plan the last few details of your special day, and to confirm a time in the morning for an island show-around so you can select your preferred spot to tie the knot.

Your stay at Desroches Island includes the following:

Day Two:

After breakfast, meet with your wedding co-ordinator to do an island tour so you can select your preferred spot for your wedding ceremony. Make use of your couple’s massage to get rid of any lingering wedding stress, and enjoy the time exploring the island as well as the underwater wonder-world on offer around Desroches Island; be sure to use sunblock! Finalise details with your wedding co-ordinator over cocktails whilst watching the sunset from the beach bar, and arrange for your preferred times to enjoy your wedding and honeymoon amenities and activities.

Day Three:

Today is your big day!

Enjoy your pre-wedding massages today, before getting ready for your ceremony.

Tonight you will have a private dinner under the stars.

Day Four:

Enjoy your first day as a married couple in this magical utopia and spend the day lazily cycling around Desroches Island and exploring its 14km of unspoiled beaches, feeding the giant tortoises that roam around the island, and attending one of the complimentary morning yoga classes. Alternatively try out the diving, fishing and snorkelling around Desroches Island, as the marine life here is abundant and vibrant. Why not ask the staff to do a packed lunch for you to enjoy on one of the deserted beaches on the north side of the island?

Day Five:

Time on this remote tropical island feels like it stands still, yet your last day on Desroches has arrived. Catch your afternoon flight back to Mahé, where you will be met by our representatives before being transferred in a private vehicle to Maia, where you will be spending the next two nights. Maia is a beautiful and exclusive resort on the slopes of the granitic hills of Mahé. Sumptuous elegance is at the order of the day at Maia, and you will be blown away by the views over the Indian Ocean below whilst frolicking in your private pool. Your Ocean Panoramic Villa also has its own 24 hour butler who will do all of your menu planning for you during your stay whilst still ensuring your privacy at all times. Your 20 minute jetlag massage per person on arrival, followed by a bottle of bubbly in your villa, will leave you feeling refreshed and put you in the right frame of mind to fully enjoy the tranquillity that Maia exudes.

Day 6 to 7:

Spend your day snorkelling or kayaking, attending one of the yoga or Qi Gong classes, eating the amazing local seafood and enjoying one of their soul-soothing spa treatments in the outdoor pavilions. Wander off to the dive centre to start your introductory dive course and explore the magical underwater world of the Seychelles. If none of that appeals, why not ask Maia to arrange a transfer for you to go explore Victoria, one of the smallest capitals in the world, as well as the vibrant food market?

Day Eight:

After an amazing 2 days at Maia, get ready to experience your next slice of utopia. After a late breakfast in your villa, you will be delivered to the helipad for your helicopter transfer to North Island. Day Eleven

An hour in reality can feel like a second when it’s spent in paradise, and with that foremost in our minds, we can barely believe that your interlude in the Seychelles is nearing the end. The quick helicopter flight will have you back in Mahé in time to connect to your international flight.
