Discover the true 'Garden of Eden'
Praslin only has a few small villages and a few thousand people living on it.
The island has a strong tradition of hospitality, and whilst the majority of locals work in the beautiful hotels and resorts that attract visitors, the rest make their living from fishing the azure waters.
There is still much to see and explore on this island that is best known for its breath-taking beaches:
- Black Pearl of Seychelles offers the joint attractions of the Giant Clam Farm, the Pearl Farm and the Black Pearl Shop, where one can buy exotic high-class jewellery
- Café des Arts is considered one of Praslin’s most stylish restaurants and also shelters a reputable art gallery
- Curieuse Marine National Park and Ilé Coco Marine National Park are neighbouring islands which offer fantastic shallow-water scuba diving as well as snorkelling
