Day 1
Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Zil Air Lounge, where you will board your helicopter for your transfer to Raffles Praslin; the perfect place to escape to and to rediscover the luxury of spontaneity. Tucked away in blissful seclusion, the resort is an oasis of calm and comfort, with facilities and service designed to create an intimate charm. Strategically located on a vantage point, your Oceanview Pool Villa looks out to the azure sea and Curieuse Island. The soft colour scheme adopted for the interior décor in the villas creates a lovely contrast against the dramatic hues of every imaginable shade of blue of the Indian Ocean.
A stay at Raffles Praslin includes the following:
Three meals daily. Nespresso coffee machine and tea facilities in your villa. Private infinity plunge pool. Complimentary Wi-Fi. Complimentary overnight shoeshine. Access to the gymnasium, as well as daily fitness classes and wellness activities. All Taxes and Service Fees. Non-motorised watersports such as snorkelling, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. Bicycles available for guest use. Daily scheduled activities such as hiking to Anse Lazio, snorkelling, chess and table tennis competitions, biking to Cote D’Or Village, or doing the Seychelles Heritage Walk (Grand Anse via Pasquere Trail). Free use of Kindles and iPads during stay.

Day 2-4
With time on your side, be as busy or as lazy as you like. Soak up the tropical sunshine next to your dazzling pool, take a book and try out the super-comfy loungers next to the huge main double infinity pool, visit a different dimension of Praslin by getting some snorkelling gear from the dive centre and exploring the underwater world, or join one of the scheduled hikes from the resort. Not to be missed is the cuisine at the resort - combining the best of the local culture with dishes from around the world, each restaurant and bar has its own unique atmosphere and setting with something to suit every mood and every occasion.
A suggested optional activity which can be added on is a private tour of the world famed Vallée de Mai, home to the endemic species of the Coco de Mer as well as the other five species of endemic palm, the only place in the Seychelles where they are all found together. The Coco de Mer is a palm that can grow up to 30 meters in length and is known for having the largest seed in the world, weighing up to 18 kilograms.
There has also been a rich body of legend which has developed around the species, for instance, in the 19th century the British General Gordon produced detailed 'proof' that the Vallée de Mai was the Garden of Eden and that the Coco de Mer was the tree of knowledge, giving the area religious significance.

Day 6-10
Start off your stay at Frégate Island Private with your complimentary introductory yoga session at the Rock Spa, followed by a celebratory breakfast on Anse Victorin whilst enjoying the early morning on the beach. Ensure your interlude in the Seychelles will never be forgotten, and ask the accommodating staff to arrange for you to spend your second day on this amazing island alone on a private beach, followed by a High Tea on Glacis Cerf.
Your time is on your own on Frégate Island Private so spend your days going on a nature walk with one of the resident conservationists, biking around the island, sailing, surfing and kayaking. The marine life of the Seychelles is as fascinating and beautiful as the islands, so make use of your introduction to scuba diving to get introduced to the submerged splendour of paradise. Experience a night sky unlike any other with the Stargazing program, and allow the Rock Spa’s own range of products which are made in the Seychelles and grown on Frégate, to transport you into complete bliss.
If you are looking for something a little more sporty, enjoy a half day deep sea fishing: the Seychelles is renowned for the variety of fish attracted to its warm waters and catches include record Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo, Kingfish and varieties of tuna and marlin. Make a point of enjoying a dinner in the Treehouse, high up in the canopy of one of the oldest and largest banyan trees on the island, whilst being serenaded by birdsong some sixteen metres above the ground.
-
Day 11
Take your time to say goodbye to Frégate Island Private before being transferred back to Mahé by helicopter in time to connect your international flight.
Whatever the special occasion, we know that it was made just a little more spectacular by the amazing islands and resorts you visited during your time with us. Why wait for another special occasion to come back? Visiting the Seychelles is a special occasion in its own right!
