Day 1
Arrive at Victoria Airport, Mahé. The charter flight departs from the private IDC Hangar, diverts to Alphonse Island and lands on Astove Island 3 hours later. You are then transferred to the lodge where orientation and tackle set up begins.
After lunch you are welcome to head out for an unguided fishing session on foot before sunset. Astove has tackle for sale on location and offers a list of items that can be pre-ordered and delivered to the island. There will be fly lines, flies, and various other items on sale should you run out.
The guide team will assess and give advice on your flies and answer any questions that you might have.
A stay at Astove Island includes the following:
All meals; Scheduled charter flight; Six days fully guided fly fishing; Tender boat and fuel; Fishing License and Landing Fees; Soft Drinks, Water, Tea and Coffee; Fly Fishing Rod and Reel rental.

Day 2-7
Breakfast is served from 07:30 am onwards, and fishing starts at 08:30 am every morning. Lunch is taken in the form of packed lunch choice, which is enjoyed while out on the flats. The teams are to be back at the lodge by 17:30 pm but are free to continue fishing unguided until sunset should they wish.
The lodge has 4 x 20ft Mini-Mahé Skiffs as well as 2 x 17ft Mitsi Skiffs that have been specifically designed for fly fishing at Astove and which will be skippered by our experienced Alphonse Fishing Co guides. The fishing teams comprise of 2 guests fishing with a different guide each day.
Each guide is a qualified skipper, has first aid experience, speaks English and is extremely experienced.

Day 8
Breakfast will be served at 08h00, after which you can finish packing, check out and prepare for the 2-hour flight to Alphonse Island.
Upon arrival you will be met by the Alphonse Island management team and transported to the hotel by golf cart. Indemnities will be signed followed by a comprehensive briefing on what to expect during your stay. You will then be shown to your accommodation to settle in and to unpack. Fishing tackle will be collected from the back verandah of your accommodation by the guide team and taken down to the fishing centre.
Once unpacked, all anglers will make their way on their bicycles to the fishing centre and tackle setup will commence. There is a fly shop that has flies, leader, clothing, sunglasses, accessories and a rod and reel rental service. The guide team will assess and give advice on your flies and answer any questions that you might have.
Once all has been rigged up and is ready for the trip, you can either fish on the Alphonse flats or just relax around the pool or at the “Le Lys” bar while enjoying an ice cold beer or two until dinner is served at 19:30 pm.

All meals; Scheduled charter flight; Two days fully guided fly fishing; Tender boat and fuel; Fishing License and Landing Fees; Soft Drinks, Water, Tea and Coffee; Fly Fishing Rod and Reel rental; a Bicycle per guest; snorkelling equipment; complimentary scheduled communal excursions; all soft drinks during activities.

Day 11
On to the next experience! There is no landing strip on Cosmoledo your flight will depart from Alphonse Island to Assumption Island, the nearest island with a landing strip. Cosmoledo is also uninhabited so you will be accommodated on a liveaboard, the S.Y. Lone Star. She is an 85 ft. sailing catamaran with a 39 ft. beam, which makes her one of the largest sailing catamarans in the Seychelles.
She cruises at an average speed of 10 knots making her the perfect platform when operating trips between Astove, Assumption and Cosmoledo Atolls. Upon arrival you will be met by the Alphonse Fishing Co crew and transferred to the S.Y. Lone Star where orientation begins. The yacht will then immediately start the 3-hour sail to Cosmoledo Atoll, situated 18 nautical miles away.
Your stay at Cosmoledo Atoll includes the following:
All meals; Scheduled charter flight; Six days fully guided fly fishing; Tender boat and fuel; Fishing License and Landing Fees; Soft Drinks, Water, Tea and Coffee; Wine with dinner; Security as required by Seychelles Maritime Law; Fly Fishing Rod and Reel rental.

Day 12 - 17
Breakfast is served from 07:30 am onwards, with teams to be ready for fishing at 08:30 am every morning. Lunch is taken either in the form of a packed lunch choice which is enjoyed while out on the flats, or anglers can return to lunch onboard.
The teams are to be back at S.Y. Lone Star between 17:30 pm and 18:00 pm. As the fishing is predominantly done whilst wading there will be 2 guests fishing with 1 guide. All trips are led by a team of world-class professional English speaking fly fishing guides.
The crew consists of 4 Alphonse Fishing Co guides. Each guide is a qualified skipper, has first aid experience and is extremely experienced with regards to all facets of fly fishing in these remote saltwater destinations.

Day 18
If the flight is departing from Assumption, S.Y Lone Star will depart the previous evening. If the flight is departing from Astove, S.Y Lone Star will depart in the early hours of the morning. Either way, you will arrive at Astove or Assumption at first light.
Time to pack, check out and disembark S.Y. Lone Star. The charter flight departs and arrives in Mahé 3 hours later.
