The Seychelles isn’t just about lazing around the pool or spending time on the beach; it actually has a lot to offer to those who want to be a little more active.
Over and above offering yoga, jogging and hiking trails and of course snorkelling and scuba diving, all in spectacular surroundings, additional activities such as golfing, rock climbing and zip lining are all available, if you only know where to look…

Adventurer Itinerary

Day One:
Arrive at Victoria Airport, Mahé.
Transfer to Constance Ephèlia Seychelles, a beautiful resort situated at the foot of the Morn Seychellois National Park and overlooking the Port Launay National Marine Park, offering a treasure trove for divers and snorkelers. A magical place to revive the senses, Constance Ephèlia Seychelles is situated on two beautiful beaches and enjoys a unique location set on 120 hectares of luxuriant land. Your Junior Suite has plenty of space for one with beautiful ocean views.
Your stay at Constance Ephèlia Seychelles includes the following:
- Three meals daily.
- All taxes.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi.
- Tea and Coffee in your villa.
- Access to the fully equipped gym, tennis court and squash court.
- Complimentary bicycles.
- Non-motorised watersports such as snorkelling equipment (masks, snorkels and fins), kayaks, Pedalos, catamarans and windsurfing.
Activities are included in this itinerary as follows:- 1 x PADI Scuba Diver Course (3 days)
- 1 x zip line ride
- 1 x rock climbing session; entrance into Morne Seychellois National Park.
-
Day Two:
Today is the start of your PADI diving certification course! Meet your instructor who will show you the ropes with 3 theory lessons, 3 confined diving sessions and 2 full dives in total over the next three days. In the afternoon, go and explore the rock-climbing and abseiling at the activity centre. The giant natural granite crags, so characteristic of Mahé, offers both artificial and natural routes in three different locations with varying degrees of difficulty. Instructors are on hand and safety harnesses are provided.
-
Day Three:
The second day of your PADI diving certification. In the afternoon you will be visiting the zip line, with 8 adrenalin pumping rides through the canopy of the forest, ranging from 90m to approximately 200m. A short buggy drive up the hillside, a short walking climb up the mountain (with breathtaking views of the Bay at Port Launay) and you arrive at “The Icebreaker” – the first of a series of hair-raising rides through the canopy of the beautiful forest that covers the hillside of Constance Ephèlia Seychelles.
-
Day Four:
The third and last day of your PADI diving certification, which you will complete in the afternoon. But first, off you go on a half day morning hike through Morne Seychellois National Park. One of Mahé's highlights, the splendid Morne Seychellois National Park encompasses an impressive 20% of the land area of Mahé and contains a wide variety of habitats, from coastal mangrove forests up to the country's highest peak, the Morne Seychellois (905m). Covered in thick forest formation, the enigmatic, central part of the park is virtually deserted and can only be reached by walking trails; you don't have to go very far before the outside world starts to feel a long, long way away. A total of 12 different trails can be explored (maps are available at the entrance to the park); however we would suggest spending 45 minutes to reach the summit of Morne Black, which has arguably the most impressive views of the Indian Ocean. Look for tiny frogs hiding in pitcher plants, and the harmless endemic wolf snake basking in patches of sun.
-
Day Five:
Pack your bags to explore another part of paradise, namely Alphonse Island! You will be transferred to the airport in time for your morning flight. Approximately 400 kilometres away from the main island of Mahé, Alphonse Island is reachable by a scenic 60 minute flight. As you approach overhead and see the 5 kilometre stretch of island, strewn with coconut trees, you will know you’ve reached the ultimate paradise. As part of the outer islands, Alphonse Island is one of the most remote leisure destinations in the Seychelles, and all the more spectacular for it. Your 5 night stay in a Beach Villa will not only ensure your utmost comfort, but you could choose to either feel like the only person on the island by visiting remote spots with nobody else in sight, or you can get to know and interact with your fellow guests and hosts easily should you choose, as the main bar and lounge is only a short walk from your villa.
Your stay at Alphonse Island includes the following:
- Three meals daily.
- Tea / coffee.
- All non-motorised water-based activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing, pedalo etc.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi in the bar and restaurant.
- A bicycle provided per guest.
- Tennis court and equipment.
- Conservation talks.
- Nespresso coffee machines in all rooms.
-
Day Six:
Start off your morning with coffee or tea on your terrace, overlooking the azure ocean metres away. The quiet serenity of your surroundings is sure to assist you in starting your day with complete and utter peace of mind. After enjoying the splendid breakfast, visit the Diving Centre to report for your morning dive, followed by lunch on the beach. In the afternoon you have some time to explore the island by bicycle. The island slowly reveals its riches and mysteries: the remnants of an old cemetery; the woodworks, where all of the furniture and flooring for the villas are fashioned from timber from the island’s forest by carpenters; the desalination plant and vegetable garden; and the tortoise breeding pen. The remnants of the old coconut plantation and the lush and densely populated interior echoes with the melodious trills and calls of numerous species of land and seabirds whilst giant tortoises meander along.
-
Day Seven:
Today the Dive Team will take you on an excursion to St. François Island, from where they will start a guided snorkelling safari to showcase the delights of the unspoiled waters around the atoll. With regular sites such as the endangered Hawksbill Turtle and the shy octopus, you might not want to leave the tropical waters. If you like, you can arrange a packed lunch with the accommodating staff to enjoy on Bijoutier Island (fittingly meaning “jewel” in French) on the way back with the warm turquoise water lapping at your toes. The rest of the afternoon can be spent exploring some more of the island and interacting with the amazing giant Aldabra tortoises.
-
Day Eight:
After breakfast, head over to the Fishing Centre where Devan and his team will take you out for a day of blue water game fishing. With a catch-and-release policy, the waters around Alphonse Island remains almost unequalled for the combination of salt water and deep sea fishing on offer. With this natural sanctuary being home to flagship species such as Sailfish, Dogtooth Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Giant Trevally, Dorado, Tropical Amberjack, Green and Rosy Jobfish, as well as a variety of Trevally, Snapper, Wrasse and Grouper; you are sure to head home with tales to tell.
-
Day Nine:
After a leisurely breakfast, head over to the Dive Centre again for your scheduled scuba dive at what is arguably the best scuba diving location in the Seychelles. The sheer drop offs, rich currents and abundant sea life that surrounds the Alphonse group of Atolls makes it one of the most exciting and diverse dive destinations in the Seychelles.
The pristine sites around both Alphonse and St. François are famous for not only its warm water and great visibility, but also its unbleached corals and a diverse range of fish species comprising of reef, pelagic and shark species. The 15 Alphonse dive sites are suitable for all categories of divers, which makes diving at Alphonse an exciting experience for all. The sites are easily accessible and vary between five and thirty minutes from the dive boat mooring site.
-
Day Ten:
After all the jam-packed days you’ve had, spend a day at leisure relaxing around your pool or, should you not be able to sit still that long, there is always kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wind surfing and more to try your hand at.
-
Day Eleven:
Another early start, so head over to the Fishing Centre directly after breakfast to report for a full day of fly fishing. You will have one of the most experienced fishing guides in the Seychelles to show you the ropes, and once you have perfected your cast, you will be ready to test your mettle against the prolific Bonefish fishery right at your feet. More experienced anglers can target some of the scarcer and harder-fighting fish such as Indo-Pacific Permit, Giant Trevallies, the fabled Milkfish or the ornery triggerfish.
-
Day Twelve:
Unfortunately you have reached the end of your trip. Get transferred back to Mahé in the afternoon to connect to your international flight.
Although you might have had several busy days, we are convinced that you have had enough time to soak up the tranquil atmosphere along with the natural beauty and splendour, and leave these magnificent islands feeling refreshed and ready for the journey ahead!
