The Beach & Cocktail Honeymoon
When someone mentions the words “tropical island”, do you immediately imagine yourself on a blindingly white beach, with turquoise water lapping warmly at your feet, and of course a colourful and fruity concoction (with or without a kick) in your hand?
If your answer to the above is a resounding “yes!” and you are looking to plan your honeymoon, then look no further. Although the traditional honeymoon is of course about spending quality time with your new spouse, these days it is also all too often about recovering from the hectic lead-up to the wedding which, after months of meticulous planning, finally culminated in that one perfect day.
With the various islands in the Seychelles oozing peace and tranquillity, it epitomises everything you could imagine when thinking of a relaxing and fun honeymoon. The Seychellois also produce a local range of spirits called Takamaka. The range of rums are particularly good, and the perfect ingredient to many tropical cocktails on the beach!
