Active Honeymooners Itinerary
-
Day One:
Arrive at Victoria Airport, Mahé.
Transfer to Constance Ephèlia Seychelles, a beautiful resort situated at the foot of the Morne Seychellois National Park and overlooking the Port Launay National Marine Park, offering a treasure trove for divers and snorkelers. A magical place to revive the senses, Constance Ephèlia Seychelles is situated on two beautiful beaches and enjoys a unique location set on 120 hectares of luxuriant land. Your Senior Suite is extremely spacious with stunning ocean views and ample living space.
Your stay at Constance Ephèlia Seychelles includes the following:
- Three meals daily.
- All taxes.
- Complimentary Wi-Fi.
- Tea and Coffee in your villa.
- Access to the fully equipped gym, tennis court and squash court.
- Complimentary bicycles.
- Non-motorised watersports such as snorkelling equipment (masks, snorkels and fins), kayaks, Pedalos, catamarans and windsurfing.
Activities are included in this itinerary as follow:
- 1 x PADI Scuba Diver Course (3 days) per person.
- 1 x zip line ride per person.
- 1 x rock climbing session per person.
- Entrance into Morne Seychellois National Park for hiking to the highest summit in Mahé.
-
Day Two:
Today is the start of your PADI diving certification course! Meet your instructor who will show you the ropes with 3 theory lessons, 3 confined diving sessions and 2 full dives in total over the next three days.
In the afternoon, go and explore the rock-climbing and abseiling at the activity centre. The giant natural granite crags, so characteristic of Mahé, offers both artificial and natural routes in three different locations with varying degrees of difficulty. Instructors are on hand and safety harnesses are provided.
-
Day Three:
The second day of your PADI diving certification.
In the afternoon you will be visiting the zip line, with 8 adrenalin pumping rides through the canopy of the forest, ranging from 90m to approximately 200m. A quick buggy drive up the hillside, a short climb up the mountain (with breathtaking views of the Bay at Port Launay) and you arrive at “The Icebreaker” – the first of a series of adrenalin pumping rides through the canopy of the beautiful forest that covers the hillside of Constance Ephèlia Seychelles.
-
Day Four:
The third and last day of your PADI diving certification, which you will complete in the afternoon. But first, off you go on a half-day morning hike through Morne Seychellois National Park.
One of Mahé's highlights, the splendid Morne Seychellois National Park encompasses an impressive 20% of the land area of Mahé and contains a wide variety of habitats, from coastal mangrove forests up to the country's highest peak, the Morne Seychellois (905m). Covered in thick forest formation, the enigmatic, central part of the park is virtually deserted and can only be reached by walking trails; you don't have to go very far before the outside world starts to feel a long, long way away.
A total of 12 different trails can be explored (maps are available at the entrance to the park); however we would suggest spending 45 minutes to reach the summit of Morne Black, which has arguably the most impressive views of the Indian Ocean. Look for tiny frogs hiding in pitcher plants, and the harmless endemic wolf snake basking in patches of sun.
-
Day Five:
Pack your bags to explore another part of paradise, namely Beachcomber Sainte Anne Island! You will be transferred to the Sainte Anne Island’s private wharf, before a quick 10 minute speedboat ride will bring you to Sainte Anne Island. Set on a 227 hectare private island, surrounded by one of the largest marine parks in the Indian Ocean, the resort has three pristine beaches strewn with granite rocks. As the actual resort only takes up a very small part of the island, there are many more unspoiled beaches to explore.
Your spacious Pool Villa is located at the heart of the tropical gardens. The private pool, bordered by smooth wooden decking, completes the picture for a romantic hideaway whilst pretty stone walls and tall palm trees surround guests and ensure total privacy. The vast terrace extends onto the wooden decking where guests will enjoy their private infinity-pool and have the opportunity to simply relax or enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner. A discreet door at the end of the garden leads directly to the beach, a short stroll away.
Your stay at Sainte Anne Island includes the following:
- All Meals: Breakfast [L'Abondance Buffet], Lunch [L'Abondance Buffet] and Dinner [L'Abondance Buffet & Le Mont Fleuri. Set Menu/a la carte with supplement].
- Drinks in all restaurants and bars (imported wines, local and imported spirits) until 11 p.m.
- Main pool service and beach bar service (selected drinks).
- One Free shuttle per day (Sainte Anne –Mahé at 10h00 & Mahé – Sainte Anne at 16h00).
- Unlimited access to the sauna and hammam, as well as a fitness centre with body building and cardio sections.
- Entertainment.
- Complimentary bicycles and helmets.
- Access to 2 floodlit tennis courts, nature trails in the forest, table tennis, beach volleyball, Mini-Football, jogging trails, Bocciball, yoga and bike excursions.
- Water sports such as kayaking, stand up paddling, pedal boat, snorkelling and excursions on a glass-bottom boat.
- HOM added value: Champagne & Fruits. Gift Voucher for Hotel Boutique. One Candlelight Dinner Setup.
-
Day Six to Seven:
Your time at Sainte Anne Island is less structured, but by no means offers less to do. Get on your bike and explore the 220-heactare island, discovering hidden coves and beaches off the beaten track. Sign up for the snorkelling excursion into the Sainte Anne Marine Park, where one can often see some of the endangered Hawksbill Turtles.
Enjoy the amazing array of meals on offer at the five different restaurants around the island, and spend leisurely hours kayaking around the marine park, hiking some of the nature trails through the forest, playing volleyball on the beach and finding your inner calm with the yoga classes on offer.
-
Day Eight:
Time to move on! Get transferred back to Mahé by the Sainte Anne speedboat in time to connect to your international flight.
Whilst you have certainly been busy during your time in the Seychelles, we are convinced that you have had enough time to soak up the tranquil atmosphere along with the natural beauty and splendour, and leave these magnificent islands feeling refreshed and ready for the journey ahead!
