The Friends
Although tropical islands seem to be exclusively reserved for love-struck couples, should one believe the hype, it could be a great way for a good group of friends to spend some quality time together, away from the busyness of everyday life. You only need to find the right resort which won’t make you feel like you are disturbing all the afore-mentioned love-struck couples around you…
We find it best not to structure your time too much if you are a group of friends travelling together, but rather to offer you a base itinerary, where you can add on activities as pleased.
The best thing about a large group of friends travelling together is that you will always find someone to join you on an excursion, whilst nobody feels like they are missing out if they would prefer to just lie on the beach; just so you can mix it all up again tomorrow.

Day Two:
Enjoy your first day in the sun, lounging on the beach and next to the pool, whilst sipping on tropical cocktails. Have sushi or one of the other specialities in the Windsong Bar for lunch, before perhaps going to visit the Kempinski Spa, located at the foot of the famous Baie Lazare rocks in a natural wooden pavilion with panoramic views and surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape. The spa philosophy is inspired by the European cycle of the seasons and uses pure organic herbs found in the area like lemon grass, vanilla and cinnamon as the main healing component. You have your evening at leisure with dinner included at Kempinski Seychelles Resort. Why not visit the casino after dinner, to see if you are in favour with Lady Luck?
-
Day Three:
Optional activity: Go on a blue safari! Arrange with the dive centre to go on a snorkelling trip or to do an introductory dive (or even a regular dive, if you are an experienced diver) to discover the magical underwater world of the Seychelles. Stand amazed by Hawksbill turtles, schools of clown fish, as well as the odd octopus. You have your evening at leisure with dinner included at Kempinski Seychelles Resort.
-
Day Four:
Optional activity: The Seychelles Archipelago is renowned for the variety of fish attracted to its tropical waters and boasts some of the best sport fishing in the world. Extraordinary catches include record sized marlin, sailfish, tuna, Dorado, wahoo and kingfish. Novice or expert fisherman: it all makes for an unforgettable big-game fishing experience! Half-day or full-day excursions which can take you as far north as Bird Island and Denis Island, where the ocean floor plummets to 2,000 meters, are possible from Mahé and allows for a magnificent fishing experience. After weighing catches and comparing sizes you can be instructed in how to prepare your catch in a traditional Kreol style for lunch. You have your evening at leisure with dinner included at Kempinski Seychelles Resort.
-
Day Five:
Optional activity: A full day excursion to the second biggest island in the archipelago, Praslin Island, to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Vallée de Mai, home to the endemic species of the Coco de Mer as well as the other five species of endemic palm, the only place in the Seychelles where they are all found together. The Coco de Mer is a palm that can grow up to 30 meters in length and is known for having the largest seed in the world, weighing up to 18 kilograms. There has also been a rich body of legend which has developed around the species. For instance, in the 19th century the British General Gordon produced detailed 'proof' that the Vallée de Mai was the Garden of Eden and that the Coco de Mer was the tree of knowledge, giving the area religious significance. Only an hour on the fast-speed ferry will bring you to Praslin Island, where our representatives will meet you for the start of your excursion. Located in a valley in the heart of Praslin National Park, an area which was untouched until the 1930s and still retains primeval palm forest in a near-natural state, the Vallée de Mai is also home to the endemic (and endangered) black parrot, which is totally dependent on the existence of the surrounding palm forest. You will have a 90 minute tour of the Vallée de Mai before being transferred to Anse Lazio for lunch. You will be able to spend a couple of hours on what is consistently voted as one of the world’s top ten beaches, before being transferred back to the ferry terminal for the hour-long ferry transfer back to Mahé. You have your evening at leisure with dinner included at Kempinski Seychelles Resort.

-
Day Seven:
Day 7: Unfortunately today is your last day in Mahé, and you will all be transferred to the airport in time for your international flight. Your interlude in paradise might be over, but you and your friends will have some fun memories to treasure of your time together in the sun!
